SUSTAINABLE WATERPROOFING
Nova Palm Technology has pioneered and created the most environmental friendly non Portland cement based flexible waterproofing. Ponds, swimming pools or even drinking water tanks can now be protected with a sustainable long lasting waterproofing without affecting the water quality or harming the environment and animals.
THE TECHNOLOGY
BL 2550 Flex (Flexible Waterproofing) is a two-component hybrid waterproofing system:
1. Powder component The powder component is based on the chemical and mechanical resistant “Eco-Binder” system, which replace Portland cement. The used and special activated raw materials solidify similar to Portland cement by forming resistant calcium silicate hydrate phases without releasing the unstable and soluble calcium hydroxide.
2. Liquid component The liquid component creates an elastic and netlike membrane and consists of one of the most recent and sustainable polymers. The parallel reaction of both components creates a flexible and permanent waterproofing which is low on ammonia and APEO- / VOC - free.
THE MECHANISM
By using the novel activator slag from the steel industry and fly ash from power plants are stimulated that the reaction and formation of concrete similar crystals can be seen without the negative site like calcium hydroxide. Combined with a eco-friendly solvent, VOC and APEO free polymer a highly flexible waterproofing is build and can be used in humid areas without problems like attachment.
INCREASING PERFORMANCE
Nova Palm Technology BL 2550 Flex“ can be used as sealing of building structures, tanks, pools, ponds or any other construction against soil humidity, leak water and water pressure (30 m water column). Furthermore the waterproofing can be used as a surface protection against acids, weathering and abrasion effects of concrete elements, pipelines, EPS and mineral based brickwork.

Innovative silicate based sealer to protect mineral surfaces against chemicals and efflorescence
BL 1502 is a 1 -component liquid based on a silicate binder system. It penetrates deep into the underground and forms with the mineral components of cement an extremely durable and high abrasion resistant silicate structure. After the treatment the protected surface is permanently waterproofed and solidified against diluted acid and salt water. The penetration of pollutants into the concrete is prevented. It stops permanently water and moisture to enter the underground.

BL 1501 reacts with components of masonry like lime and cement, penetrating deep into the substrate to form a solid acid resistant and dense silicate structure. It seals off porous, sandy and absorbent areas like concrete, screed and mineral cementitious surfaces. The crystallization forms a permanent structure that stops the seepage of ground water, saltwater and corrosive chemicals. BL 1501 is especially effective against residual underground moisture and suitable for indoor or outdoor surfaces.
